Nope. We act as a sort of “hub” for those interested in what organizations are putting on events and offer in-person community opportunities. There are so many wonderful non-profits, surf schools, cold-plunge groups, and other cold water organizations in this area who have made it their mission to get out there, with you! Check out our Community Page for all the above.

This platform is run remotely, but our roots are on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State. We share anything ranging geographically from the coast of Northern California all the way up through B.C., and to Alaska (i.e., the Pacific Northwest).

I think there is an innately feminine nature to water. This sort of Divine Feminine energy feels very present to me when I’m in the ocean. Surfing, swimming, diving, and fishing are also quite male dominated areas - which is not at all a bad thing - but it does allow for women in these areas to stand out. I’ve found that connecting with women in these spaces is some what of a treasure. Making this platform female focused just felt right.

Our Founder
Hiya! My name is Malia Kellerman and I’m the creator behind this platform. Originally from Oahu, HI, I was fortunate enough to grow up warm-water baby. My family moved us to the mainland when I was around 5 years old which started my cold-water journey. I’ve spent most my childhood and young adult life just outside Seattle, Washington State, and feel most at home in these waters.
I’m a surfer, swimmer, free-diver, and overall cold-water lover. Playing in these dark and vibrant waters is my main form of connection to God and I truly believe one of the reasons why I’m here on this planet.
Inspired by other women I’ve met in the water, I wanted to start a small platform, a creative outlet, where I could share stories from the incredible humans I’ve met while in the ocean.
Thank you for being here, I hope you enjoy.
With love and aloha,
Malia
